Detailed ‘As Is’ Study Methodology - A 4-Step Process
1. Acquisition - A combination of qualitative and quantitative data is acquired, assimilated and assessed utilising: interviews, documentation, matrices, diagnostic tools, brainstorming and creative thinking.
2. Analysis – ICOR conducts a Diagnostics Review of the entire accommodation and meetings room requirement, which includes: Detailed analysis of current supplier deals vs. ICOR’s corporate benchmarked data and other corporate deals currently in place. Geographic site requirements (including customer’s worldwide office locations and frequently visited destinations) relative to current deals in place and volumes placed. Forecast total demand.
3. Assessment – ICOR assess current policy, process; spend analysis metrics, current supplier performance, communications, compliance to preferred agencies, properties and venues, hotel and meeting room contracting and management processes and responsibilities, multi-site considerations and future planning.
ICOR also assess technology requirements (including Self-Booking-Tool options) and conducts an in-house resource assessment.
4. Synthesis – ICOR determines the corporates business vision and develops the project road map. Includes: recommendations related to preferred processes, suppliers, technology platform & adoption, communication strategies, security and corporate responsibility strategies, compliance monitoring, targeted cost savings and return on investment expectations.
Diagnostics Review

This data is comprehensively researched covering all key stakeholder interests aligned with corporately held benchmarked data. This provides the measurement to evaluate current practices against industry Best-Practice, focusing on direct savings opportunities as well as product and service quality efficiencies that can be gained.
At the end of the diagnostics review process a concise report clearly shows the opportunities available and the steps an organisation needs to take to realise the savings identified.
